I DID IT!

There was a while there were I honestly thought I'd never get to write a post talking about graduating college. But as you read this, I'm either sitting in the University of North Texas Coliseum waiting for my name to be called so I can cross the stage, or that's already happened and I'm officially a college graduate.

I struggled with anxiety throughout my entire college career which I learned towards the end of it that it was because I had celiac disease, all of which started right after graduating high school.

There were multiple times where I just felt like maybe college wasn't for me, graduation felt like it was never going to come and was so far out of reach.Anyway, I'm feeling very nostalgic and I'm super grateful to be done with college but more so to have that experience.

Now I wouldn't say college was like the greatest time of my life, I'd like to think even better things are coming (cheesy but true!) but thinking about everything, overall it was a good experience/time in my life. Even though it didn't always feel that way in the moment.

I got so much work experience that it really confirmed that journalism is something I'm good at and love, especially at times when I doubted myself. I made friends that I know I'll have for a life time.

I'm just feeling super grateful, happy, and really proud of myself for completing college.

As cheesy as it may be, I'm really looking forward to what the next chapter of my life holds!
