For a while, I was totally annoyed with my hair. It wasn't holding curl, or it didn't look to healthy to me, and I was losing a lot of hair when I'd brush/comb/wash it.

Now it should be said that along with celiac disease, I also have hypothyroidism, both of which I know have under control so it's helped improve the hair loss. So I'm not entirely giving credit to these products, but I believe they have helped keep my hair healthy.

So this is what I do on the days I wash my hair, which is 2-3 times a week.Lately I've been using SheaMoisture shampoo and conditioner. I let it dry in the a hair towel for 20 minutes to an hour before brushing it with a WET brush and putting product in it.

Then I blow dry it straight with a round brush and I have the Tresemme blow dryer.Depending on the mood I'm in, I'll curl it that night or the next morning. I've been using the Kristin Ess Dry Conditioner as a heat protection and I recently replaced my old flat iron with the Kristen Ess 3-in-1 Flat iron. Over the last year, I've found that my hair holds curl better if I curl it with a flat iron versus a curling iron. I have no idea why and it makes no sense but it's what works!I also really love Kristin Ess's beach wave spray as a light hold hair spray, and her dry shampoo! I promise she's not paying me to say any of this, I just really like her products, they're at target and reasonable priced, and smell really amazing!
