Current Hair Care Routine

I don't really change up my hair routine often, if anything I'll try a new shampoo and conditioner every once and awhile but other than that I'm a creature of habit. Recently, I've changed pretty much everything from my last post so I decided it was time for a update.

Most of these products are relatively new to me but they've already become favorites of mine and I wanted to share.

First, I'm obsessed with all things SheaMoisture. Their hair products, their skin care, haven't tried their makeup but I'm sure it's just as good.I use their clarifying shampoo once every couple of weeks, when I'm not using that I use Pantene classic clean shampoo and conditioner and since I switched to this, my hair has been so healthy and soft. It also doesn't get oily as quickly so I don't even have to use dry shampoo that often anymore.

Just a few weeks ago, I started using different products on my hair before styling. Before that I had been sticking to the same products in the previous post.

I had a Sephora gift card, and surprisingly I didn't find anything makeup wise I wanted to use it on, I talked myself out of everything. Of course that was a few weeks ago and now I have a wishlist, always happens.

Anyway, I was looking through the Bumble and bumble products and of course wanted to try everything, so I found a travel size set of four products (I believe this was part of a holiday set from Sephora because I couldn't find it online but they do have travel sizes in store!)

The Invisible Oil primer and the Repair Blow Dry cream are the best. They smell so good and they've made such a big difference with blow drying my hair. I have naturally curly, thick, frizzy hair that is frustrating to blow dry. But using these products and blow drying my hair with a medium round brush while its still damp, my hair has never been so smooth or flat from just blow drying.

I will admit, my hair still slightly resembles a troll doll after that, so I curl it using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron (the one I linked has an extra long barrel which makes it perfect for long hair!) I also use my flat iron to  smooth out the pieces around my ear, and to tame the frizz at the roots. Then I spray it with the Thickening Dryspun Finish spray and it's the best for texture and hold, especially if you don't want your curls/waves to be too perfect and look more natural. It also holds the curl/wave really well overnight, I tend to do my hair before bed so then in the morning I just have to touch it up before heading to class.

The Bumble and bumble set did come with a dry shampoo, but I'm not really a fan of it. I still prefer the Dove dry shampoo when I need one.
