More Fake News

Specifically she discussed a baseless rumor spread by a Flyers-affiliated podcast that made former Flyer Kevin Hayes look bad and resulted in death threats and other vile remarks directed at him. In the final episode of 2023, Morgan wraps up the Top 3 in 2023 episodes by covering the top 3 life (well really, royal) stories of 2023.

She starts by discussing the biggest tiara moment of the year, the reemergence of the Strathmore Rose tiara after 90+ years in the vault. She revisited Kate's stunning appearance in the diadem. Morgan and Laura also discussed the conspiracy theory that this was Kate's original look for the coronation before it was decided that tiaras wouldn't have been worn.

Finally, Morgan and Laura discuss the coronation of King Charles. The discuss some of the great moments as well as some of their disappointments and missed opportunities for the event.

In typical Morgan and Laura fashion, there were a lot of tangents in this episode, but they brought it home in the end with Laura providing the final rant and rave of 2023.

Tiara Déjà Vu

On this episode, Laura very quickly recaps the British Diplomatic reception in which Kate wore an entire look she's worn before. Then, she discusses the Nobel Prize Ceremony where Victoria wore an entire look she's worn before. There was a lot of tiara déjà vu this week.

Morgan ends the show by ranting about William and Kate's family Christmas card and using her photography knowledge to analyze it.

Laura

Our resident baseball expert Morgan gave us all the deets of how this signing came to be, the staggering details of the contract, and all the rumors that swirled about Ohtani going to Toronto. It was a whirlwind of social media craziness so there was much to discuss.

The conversation then shifts to Kate's jaw-dropping surprise appearance in the Strathmore Rose tiara after its 90-year hiatus. It an undoubtedly iconic moment, and Laura and Morgan have a lot to say.
